Summer Student Farm Worker Bursary Program
Secondary and post-secondary students working in BC’s agriculture sector this summer can qualify for a bursary of up to $3,000! Students working in BC primary agriculture, food beverage, or seafood processing, and fishing or aquaculture are eligible to apply!

Okanagan College President’s Entrance Scholarships – 2024
We are continuing to have students apply for the President’s Entrance Scholarship online on our website and students can start to apply on their myOkanagan site as soon as they have received their ID number.
Principals and designates will still need to submit an appraisal, however, it can now be emailed by the school or the student to [email protected].
Principal’s Written Appraisal (Word or PDF format on school letterhead):
- Provide specific details pertaining to all attributes of a well-rounded nominee:
o demonstrated leadership,
o contribution to the school and community through:
- sports, culture, voluntary service and/or other extra-curricular activities, and
o Scholastic achievement
The members of the adjudication committee rely heavily upon the information provided to them by the Principal (or designate), and the quality and accuracy of this appraisal is very important to the nominee’s application.
ELIGIBILITY:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
¨ be Canadian citizens or permanent residents;
¨ have graduated from a secondary school in the Okanagan College region within the last fifteen months (as of September 2024) and have not subsequently attended post- secondary studies at a college or university;
¨ have demonstrated leadership and made a contribution to their school and community; and
¨ have a minimum cumulative grade average of 76% (B+), based on all grade 11 and 12 courses.
